Sailing the Atlantic is a dream for many sailors. The ARC Transatlantic attracts over 200 boats and 1,200 people each year to sail the 2,700 nM across the Atlantic from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia in the Caribbean. Beyond the experience of sailing the magnificent Atlantic, the ARC is fantastic for the shoreside activities and parties in Gran Canaria and Saint Lucia, not least being met on the dock on arrival with rum punches and chilled beer!

Owner and Skipper Ross Applebey has 15 transatlantic crossings under his belt. Scarlet Oyster has competed in and won their class in the ARC Transatlantic Race  in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Scarlet Oyster has also won overall Racing Division in 2011 and 2014. Due to Scarlet's record-breaking performance in this event, in 2013 Ross was honored to be awarded the Spirit of the ARC trophy at the prize giving in Saint Lucia.

Ross and Scarlet Oyster are excited to take part in this event again in 2015! Please contact us if you would like to be part of the team
