Skipper and owner Ross Applebey has produced a winning formula that has delivered top results head-to-head against even professionally-crewed racing teams. Scarlet Oyster has had tremendous success and is one of the most competitive boats on the racing circuit landing on the podium of every event since 2011! Most notably, she has won her class in the Fastnet, Caribbean 600, ARC Transatlantic and multiple RORC races; as well as achieving overall regatta wins at Antigua Sailing Week and the St Maarten Heineken Regatta. Scarlet Oyster has also won “Best Charter Boat” for her results in the Fastnet, Antigua Sailing Week, St Maarten Heineken Regatta.

2018 Round britain and Ireland campaign

  • Approximately 2,500 miles of offshore racing over 26 days + training days
  • 4 weekends of RORC offshore races over May, June & July to prepare you for the main event
  • Nonstop, 1,800 mile RORC SevenStar Round Britain and Ireland Race starting on 12th August.
  • Acknowledged to be one of the toughest offshore races in The World (think of it a 3 Fastnet Races back-to-back)
